BRAND ORIGINS

Inspired by the iconic duality of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from R.L. Stevenson’s novel, founders Alberto and Nicola Franceschi launched Hide&Jack in 2014, embodying the power of contrast. The brand captures the essence of Italian creativity, blending bold innovation with timeless tradition. Hide&Jack goes beyond fashion, delivering a dynamic expression of style where heritage meets modernity. It is a celebration of individuality, where every piece reflects the rich Italian craftsmanship and the daring spirit of reinvention—perfect for those who embrace both their classic and edgy sides.

Davide Bacchin

Davide Bacchin is regarded as one of the most refined footwear designers of the new Italian generation. His career has been shaped within some of the most demanding environments in contemporary fashion, collaborating with brands from the OTB Group and iconic fashion houses such as Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni and Jil Sander.

Within these contexts, he developed a clear and disciplined design language rooted in formal purity, proportion, and a deep understanding of product culture. His work is minimal yet expressive, where every detail serves a precise purpose and every line carries meaning.

He has also collaborated with Philippe Model, further strengthening his experience in premium sneaker design and high-end footwear development.

Today, Davide Bacchin is part of the Hide&Jack Design Office, where he contributes a mature, international vision that elevates the brand’s creative direction. His presence reinforces Hide&Jack’s identity, guiding the design toward a more refined, conscious, and distinctive expression.

HIDE&JACK is an Italian brand born in the Riviera del Brenta, the world-renowned footwear district.

Our sneakers are conceived by our style office using the best leather to create authentic masterpieces.

We are constantly upgrading and improving our carryover lines with new colorways, technologies, and materials, thanks to the continuous research of our team.

His design process is problem solving: in order to achieve success you must have an elastic mind.
